Being refillable, the new mascara is also sustainable and hygienic, boasting a unique compact design. The refillable insert is discarded after three-month usage, limiting packaging waste and ensuring fresh product, while helping to prevent bacteria build-up and potential eye infections. Ingredients include theobroma grandiflorum seed butter, beeswax and carnauba wax, which each serve as binding agents; carrageneen extract, a thickener, stabiliser and gelling agent; castor seed oil, used to protect and nourish lashes, helping to prevent eyelash loss and breakage; calming and soothing lavender flower water; and rose oil.
